As I understand it, the bill forces all Americans to have health insurance. However, I think that the fine for having no health insurance is around $750. But after the year 2014, health insurance companies will not be able to turn customers away for preexisting conditions. Why wouldnt someone pay the fine or buy low end coverage until they got ill and supplement the coverage or buy an extensive plan?

Alright I don’t know too much all I know is I’m determined, I want a car with car insurance on it. My dad has a car in which he is going to let me have and I am going with him next week to get car insurance. What papers do I need to present in order to get the car insurance because I want to be ready. I’m not sure what insurance I want yet but I believe he might be putting the insurance in his name and mine being that I am a young driver.

If your dad puts you on his insurance , it will be alot cheaper and you don’t have to do anything. Your dad can call them and tell them to put you on the insurance. he tells them what kind of car it is and they will tell him how much it will be. You only need liabilty insurance. Once you get the insurance you have to go get the registration at motor vehicles. Take the title of the car with you. providing you have a drivers license. After the registration is done and you have all the paper work. All you have to do , is take your car thru inspection. ( 45 days to do it ) good Luck

basically, yes, an insurance quote is a list of prices. There’s no commitment, it’s just what th eprice would be for the amount you are applying for. You should ALWAYS buy insurance through a broker (someone that deals with multiple companies). They will be able to shop around for you to find the best rates from all the companies available in your area and give you feedback on what companies are good and not, and can make sure the company is fine with any non-standard issues (if you have health problems, etc).

Evelyn, you can’t get your own insurance at 16. The only way is to be under your parents, so ask them.
BTW it is "course".

as i know, they need to put in my credit rating and as such, will it hurt my credit rating, i have great score.

i know credit score takes a hit if you ask for a online loan quote.
