The best of the plans I’ve hears so far is a safety net using government clinics. People who can’t afford health care would be able to go to these clinics and get help and it wouldn’t mess with every body elses health insurance.

We have a system …
We have a system which works regarding healthcare. It is called Medicare: which should be available to all Americans. The insurance companies have robbed us blind. Ask your friends and neighbors. Everone knows someone who has no health insurance and can’t afford to get sick. We could have a simple tax on all goods and services to pay for it. Medicare is socialized medicine and it works much more efficiently than what we have.

No surprise that California, one of the richest but most liberal state, especially in fiscal term, is on the edge of bankruptcy. Now Californian socialist model with its highest tax rate, strictest enviromental protection rules, and very generous welfare and healthcare systems is copied by Obama administration with its ambitious, costly health care reform of one trillion dollars for everybody including 12 milliions illegal immigrants who would be naturalized under Obama immigration reform.

I agree with the republicans that the U.S. was not founded on democratic principle but as a thieves’ republic, but the majority of American had fought and reformed this country that are bounded more to democratic principles and the government as sole representative of the people. The whole nation did not, but a few thieves who initial created this government did. The thieves infiltarte government enslaved the African Americans and the Irish, they oppressed theh women, discriminated against the Asians, exterminated the natives, and initially did not allow all U.S. citizens to vote and have a say in policy making. America was not a great nation before. It was a nation founded on the ideology robbery, genocide, slavery, racial discrimination, women oppression, suppression of democracy, and torturing of whistle blowers. Businesses owe it’s due to the people’s forms of government that build roads and other foundation that make so many business riches and so many people happy today. Obama’s health care plan will be written by a committee whose head, John Conyers, says he doesn’t understand it. It’ll be passed by Congress that has not read it, signed by a president who smokes, funded by a Treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes, overseen by a Surgeon General who is obese, and financed by a country that’s nearly broke.

The insurance companies are not regulated. That’s what this whole bill is about. This bill is meant to regulate them because they’ve been destroying the lives of Americans for decades in their savage pursuit of profit. If you’re going to pull the typical right wing scare tactic and lie, at least try to be clever about it.
And, come on, this isn’t about “big government” to you and your right wing ilk. It’s about a black man in the White House. Isn’t it?

You’re exactly right! The free market isn’t free. And neither is government. The puppetmasters behind it all are those individuals and corporations that have enough money to pull their strings and bend the world, regardless of you, your family, your friends, your dreams or your goals. Government involvement and consumer choice are our ONLY weapons to still have some say in our lives. These industries SHOULD be regulated. They suck the life out of every one of us.
