Why do Limbaugh and others like him protect and defend Insurance Companies?
They always say that Obama wants to blame the "Eeeevilll" insurance companies, and the ‘Eeeevilll’ rich people. When the truth is, many Insurance companies are anything but "Insurance" when it comes to protecting those who believed they were actually insured. And yes those presidents and CEO’s have become very wealthy. What do you call a company that you pay into for years and then find out you aren’t going to get what you paid for?………..A scam!
Because they have money and probably feel that nothing negative will effect them like the average American. Most Americans are not as financially secure as the Limbaughs, the Becks or the Hannitys. But most people don’t want to face facts because they think they will be on that level someday — they won’t, but they think they will! lol

So then… how does it help our situation to force everyone into an insurance plan, as Obamacare does? I prefer to pay for my own health care, personally. I have not had an insurance policy in 3 years, and I have saved money.
If this bill passes, I will be forced to purchase a "qualified" insurance plan…

Why do you not complain about other insurance companies? We are mandated to carry home, car, compensation, liability, risk, etc……Health is one of the only insurances we are not yet mandated to carry.
You are a tool for the Liberal fear campaign if you actually believe that health insurance companies don’t pay claims.

There should be a law passed that makes it illegal for insurance companies to drop their customers when they’re gravely ill. On top of that there is a lot of partisan bickering by everyone. It’s why I avoid the two big political parties.

I am an insurance agent, and I have never seen the kind of behavior that is portrayed in the media. Insurance companies live up to the contract, and if they don’t you have a certain victory in court.

Insurance is a contract. In that contract it is spelled out what will and not be covered. Additionally, there are appeals processes if the insurance companies make a mistake.
Maybe you haven’t read the contract concerning what coverage has been purchased. No need to blame anyone else if you haven’t.

Two things to keep in mind before you go back to mindlessly repeating what Obama tells you..
1) Insurance companies have one of the lowest profit margins of any industry in the country ( less thatn 2% ).
2) The Federal government rejects treatment at a HIGHER rate than any insurance company in the country.
So any claims about them being "greedy bastards" don’t hold up to reality. And making the government out to be the "cure" is laughable, given that the government is worse at all the things you’re complaining about.

Protecting insurance companies is good for campaign donations for those politicians who protect them.
I’m not sure Limbaugh defends insurance companies but he attacks most democrat plans due to the fact that he is staunchly opposed to the democratic party.

A scam? Really? That’s an interesting concept. Did you read the terms of service? Define which term they broke. When you enter a contract of any sort, you and the other party are bound by certain terms. If you agree to those terms and sign up, you have no cause to complain when they meet the terms you agreed too. As a suggestion; before entering into any contract, read the frippin’ thing!
Good CEOs make a lot of money, no matter what company they work for. That’s all there is too it. If health care CEOs are evil, what about car company CEOs and grocery store CEOs? Why aren’t you attacking them? They are all paid by the corporations and their salary is based on their value to the corporation. The corporation is in it for profit but real profit comes from long term, happy clients. And, frankly, a 3% profit margin is tiny. I’d close my business if my margin was that low.
