Contact an insurance broker. They will be able to shop around to find a company that might approve you. Having a felony conviction shows that you have an increased risk to your lifestyle (just like drugs, etc) that could cause pre-mature death. Having a firearm conviction is even worse as firearms are dangerous.

DID you try and INDEPENDENT AGENT, or A BROKER? There is a HUGE difference. An independent agent, is just a self employed guy that isn’t an employee of a company. A broker works with several companies and can shop around. Most companies offer at least gauranteed issue insurance that you should qualify for. Find a good broker that is willing to do the work…considering the risk class you would be in, the commission should be well worth their time. It’s impossible to recommend what company would approve you as we don’t know of any other health risks, what age you are, what state/province/country you are from, so we don’t know what demographic you would fall into.

You’ll have to work with an independent agent that can access many insurance companies. However, committing a felony with a firearm sounds like an underwriter’s nightmare.

I think you”ll need to try for a "guaranteed issue" policy through a company like Globe Life or Mutual of Omaha.

You might be able to get the charge reduced. See an attorney or the court.
Other than that you need to see a Broker that can find you a company.
